Outcome
A founder vision translated into scoped requirements, a managed backlog, and a working Scrum cadence with the outsourced engineering team.
Business context
Stack and BlueDash share the same owners. The founders' existing dental education business gave Stack a concrete initial use case: create and monetize courses that help dentists manage their practices. They also wanted the platform to serve other users through white-label offerings.
The challenge
The founders operate a successful education business teaching dentists how to manage their practices. They wanted a platform for their own operation that could also be white-labeled for other educators and businesses.
The goal: bring course creation, monetization, and customer management together in a product that can support the founders' business and future customers.
My role
I served as Product Management Consultant and Scrum Master, working with the founders and their outsourced engineering team. I scoped work, managed tasks and priorities, coordinated stand-ups, and introduced Scrum and Agile practices. I was not a builder or implementation architect on this engagement.
How the workflow changes
The intended product journey connects customer management with course production and monetization. A business would use the CRM to manage its audience and customer relationships, create course material through the agentic builder and recording studio, and offer that learning experience under its own brand. These are intended workflows for a product still in development.
Product and delivery
Product work focused on clarifying how the CRM, course tools, and commercial experience fit together. I scoped the work and organized tasks with the founders and engineering team. The outsourced development team was responsible for building the platform; my responsibility was making the work understandable, prioritized, and manageable through the delivery process.
Results and current status
Stack remains in development. My contribution is product definition and delivery coordination. It shares ownership with BlueDash but addresses a distinct education and commerce use case.
